I escaped the dentist's chair and was pleased to see that the full moon had pulled the morning tide to its lowest possible ebb. This quadruples the sense of space on our beach and exposes these old pier footings.

We have been evicted from our house by the flooring team. They completed the fine sanding today and now apply three coats of sealant. If it is not dry when we get home we will have to spend the night in the garden shed!

All being well two thirds of this process will be completed by this evening and everything should be perfect by Monday night !
