Less travelled

This little road near Kinneigh is called "Bótharín na naobh" (the little road of the saints). It was once the road leading to a monastery — that's one possible explanation of its name. But in the other direction it leads to a burial ground. So it's not clear whether it refers to the saints who were alive or to the saints who are further along the road.
There was almost no one on it today but it soaked up the lovely autumn light and heat.
