Parish Church...

... of St James, Thorner, West Yorkshire.

I don't often feature buildings in my blips but I was visiting a friend in the village today and the church looked particularly splendid in the afternoon sunlight.

The west tower was constructed in the 15th century.

I don't think there is a connection with my last year's blip , or maybe there is.
