Walked through these 'back gates' for six years to get to school, before Sir Michael of Wilkins decided in all his wisdom that we would have to walk through the park to get to the front. (This was particularly annoying when you had last lesson in the block right next to the gates and you ended up having to double back on yourself to get out!)
Personally think it's kind of sad to see the old entrance (albeit the back one) so overgrown and neglected.
