Sunrise at Castlrerigg

Another morning where a quick peep between the curtains led to a rapid dressing and grabbing of camera gear. Yesterday we visited these stones in driving rain but this morning it was a glorious sunrise with the early light hitting the mountainside across the valley.

The forecast for the rest of the day was pretty grim but we ended up at 4 different locations with only a few occasional showers and finished up with a quick pint of local beer before heading home to sort through today's pictures.
