Shiny disco ball

Mr A & I decided we've been sedate for a couple of weeks now so it was time for a road trip.

We are both off Friday to Sunday, so we are in Bristol.

This may seem a random choice, but it's somewhere Mr A wanted to visit, and close to Bath which is somewhere I wanted to visit.

We are staying just outside Bristol, but have had good tourist information courtesy of local lad (& fellow blipper) Richyf.

This afternoon we had a walk around the city centre and down to the harbour.

Bristol is a strange place, in that it reminds us of various other places. The harbour side bars & restaurants are reminiscent of Covent Garden; the Millennium Square (where the disco ball is) is a lot like Spinningfields in Manchester and the little back streets reminded us of York.

The disco ball is actually a planetarium; if you look really closely you can see Mr A & I in the reflection though I look like I have much shorter legs!!

Tomorrow we are going to visit Bath; then Sunday we can spend more time in 'Brizzle' and hopefully squeeze in a blipmeet with Richyf and maybe also a quick hi with my niece Dani (from yesterday's blip) who also lives here in Bristol.
