Derwent Fells

We had a drive round today to familiarise ourselves with the area a little. The weather was extremely changeable, going from torrential downpours to bright sunshine in minutes.

I took this photo overlooking Keskadale Beck at about 4 pm. Soon after it became so dark that we didn't take any more photographs.

Also familiarised myself with the local shops and spent a small fortune this morning in a super outdoor clothing shop in Keswick. And I'm only sorted to my ankles going upwards!
