Rainy walk

Stayed at work late this evening, then walked to Trafalgar Square to meet my friend Lizzie and go to the Virginia Woolf exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. I got there a bit early, so passed the time taking some very rainy photos. It was a bit challenging trying to hold an umbrella and hold the camera steady for these low light shots, but it just about worked. I was quite pleased to catch this man just as he strode in front of this monument.

Had a really lovely evening with Lizzie - the exhibition was really interesting, and then we had a good old chin wag over a coffee afterwards. Caught the train home at 10pm and Tim came to pick me up from the station :)
