FortyTwo minus Five
Another blip, another birthday, another year goes by (three birthday's on blip now). All in the blink of an eye.
A weird old day with the weather - about five inches of snow this morning which led me to deciding to work from the West Lothian office. A lot has gone since lunchtime as its rained pretty constantly, but still about two inches covering the drive.
Nevertheless, the day started with pancakes for breakfast and cards/presents. Lots of cool photo and story books from friends and family and even a voucher for free DVD rental for the next six months - which given our impending arrival was insightful indeed!
A productive day at work, whilst not being at work, topped off by a trip into Edinburgh for dinner at The Pink Olive, stopping off at Spoon for a quick Hello to the small gang of assembled blippers. Mrs42 even came and said hello!
You've got Mrs42 to thank for the picture today too - we had a few tries to get it right ... "No, half of my face". I'm sure you can imagine the scene! But really pleased with the way this one came out.
What a lovely birthday.
Updated my blipfolio today too after some recent comments about adding images from fellow blippers, if you fancy a look.

LOTD: Flick's Park Life 14 blip is awesome - the mood, feeling and layers are brill and it shows great imagination. I also loved life through many lenses "reason to be cheerful ?" blip - gritty and real and an excellent composition.
