In search of the Vikings

Yay, it's Friday! It's been a long week!

Picked Lottie up from school, nipped into town and then took her to the library. Her project this year is Vikings and Anglo Saxons, not periods of history I know much about. The books were sadly lacking but there was a bit of a display about a long boat found locally so worth going.

I know I have blipped similar blips at least twice now but I just love these reading pods. Libraries have come a long way since I used to go as a child, although they have lost none of their magic to me. Think I preferred them a little quieter though, there were some children treating it like a playground this afternoon! Sssh!
