GLASS

Haven't done much today. Pottered about at home this morning. Wrote a letter to my stepdaughter. Her birthday is on Monday and I always send a card with a letter telling her my news. Also packed up a few gifts in a box to send to my daughter Becky as its her birthday next Sunday. Walked down to the village this afternoon to the Post Office.

Neil and his girlfriend went off down to London on the train this morning. They are attending a very posh wedding tomorrow. The groom is an old schoolfriend of Neil's - they have known each other for about 20 years. The bride is the daughter of an American billionaire. So no expense has been spared this weekend. The guests are all staying in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hyde Park. Cocktails are being served on the walkways of Tower Bridge at one point. That sounds lovely.

Today's Forum Challenge word is GLASS. So I have blipped a glass bowl I bought at the Metrocentre on Tuesday. Its hand made and hand painted. Of course I didn't need a new glass bowl but I just liked it.
