Jamon Serrano

Rows of prize hams decorated this wonderful tapas bar -la Mariposa - where we had lunch on our last full day here. We were sitting under thousands of euros worth of jamon serrano mainly from the Alpujarras mountains. Want to end our stay in Andalucia tomorrow with a blip of a bright flower, but for today these hams, with their little fat catchers underneath, represent the great food - and wine- we've had these past few weeks.
Not to mention the friendliness of the Spanish people we've met here.
