Well, well!

This is a well that is inside a house that I went to this evening.
It is over 60 feet deep and was full of cobwebs.
It is covered, at floor level, in VERY thick glass.
The room it is in now used to be a shed but is now a garden room which the elderly owner uses as a bedroom.
Apparently, according to the owner , children used to be lowered down the well to repair it or remove debris when there had been a storm.
