June .....

..... in Fountains café.


At lunchtime today I headed over to Bradford, first stop was a look around a new exhibition at the fuse gallery followed by lunch at Fountains where I took my first photo of he day ( blipped ).

After lunch I met up with Louise ( a new member of the Bradford photo group ) for a look around the new exhibition of photos at Impressions gallery by David Chancellor.

Louise and myself then spent a couple of hours taking photos around the Leeds Road area of Bradford. Its a very varied area and we visited a Sikh temple, an Islamic school, walked past a Hindu temple, Catholic church and a Salvation army hall all within a mile of each other. It was an enjoyable photo walk and I've added a few from that here.

After the walk I met up with Spartan who was up in Bradford and we went for a beer and a Curry ( compulsory on a Friday night in Bradford ). We also went along to an event in City park called Shine, where there was an interesting light art installation and lots of performers lit up on stilts and spinning light sticks. Whilst there we also bumped in to fellow blipper Appertunity.

It's been a fun day with lots of photos taken, but I've decided to blip the first of the day, so today's blip is .....
