Sun finally shining this morning but no time to try the pool as we had to set off to the airport early. This photo isn't great but gives a good sense of Colombo traffic. Lanes? Rights of way? - don't be stupid, just blow your horn and push in!
Long wait at airport but caught up on thesis draft commenting then time to board. Once again comfortable and this time even the massage function on my chair worked, but seemed a much longer trip since it was day time. Managed a snooze for a while but mainly read-started and finished the novel 'The 100yr old man who climbed out of his window and disappeared'.....very good.
Arrived at Heathrow following some great views over central London and straightforward trip up the motorway to MK with much better behaved drivers! Can't really believe how far away I've been given its been so few days since I left!
