The Colour of Spring.

When I was a child, I loved colouring-in books and enjoyed trying out different colour combinations together.

One of my favourite combinations was bright yellow, bright orange and light green. To me, back then, they were the colours of spring. And now, many year later, they are still the colours of spring!

I don't know what this flowering tree is. From a distance, it looked like wattle, but no...it is a distinct flower, not a little fury ball of wattle, and growing on a flowering tree which looks for all the world like some type of gum tree.

And a very lovely spring-type flower too ~~ and the colour of spring. :-)
