Sunshine after the rain.

We went to Lidl this morning, to get some more ingredients, for J to make his third batch of chutney. We then came home, and had an early lunch, as J was having the Harley mot'd at 1.30pm. It was lovely and sunny all morning, and then about 1 0'clock the sky went black, and the heavens opened. We had hailstones as well. J waited until the very last minute, but he had to leave in the rain. He wasn't happy! About half an hour later, the sun came out again and it's been a lovely, sunny afternoon. The bike passed the m o t, as we knew it would, but now he will have to spend a day cleaning it. Oh dear, it's such a hard life when you have three motor cycles !When he got home, we made the weekly trip to Porthcawl, and the tide was right out, as you can see.The donkeys were gone, and the beach was fairly quiet.
