Clearing out

Twice a year or so I do a sweep through the girl's chest of drawers to clear out worn-out and out-grown clothes and make space for clothes that will fit. I'm not sure how this baby bottle and single tiny sock have made it through the last 5 years, or even why I thought her bedroom would be a good place to keep a bottle she hasn't used in years apart from occasionally as a bath toy. Now it's time to photograph them, remember fondly, and move on. Tomorrow we go to Bath to negotiate some new stuff for her. "Yippee! There's a whole world of fashion waiting for me!" as she memorably said the last time we took her shopping.
