Good news and bad news

Well I'll start with the good news, at long last I've finished painting the bedroom. I know it's been a while but I had a day with no interruptions so I just have to hoover and put the furniture back. Really pleased with the result and very relaxing. Much better than the green that was the same as the doctors surgery.

Now the bad news, it's about Ken , the pheasant. I saw him trying to balance on the fence today and he was all over the place and wondered if he problems with one of his legs. Unfortunately his foot is in a bad way and completely twisted and swollen and there is no way he can use it. I think he has had something twisted round it and his leg has broken at the ankle. I do nt think he's in much pain as the feeling has been cut off.He is still feeding but I do nt hold out much hope. A cat almost got him but he managed to fly off. There's nothing I can do so nature will have to take it's course. I know it's just a pheasant but I'm quite upset about it. I just hope I do nt find him lying in the garden tomorrow.

The sun came out again today and the large white horse was standing in the sunlight and his tail looked wonderful as it swished it about.
