Fallen

In one months time we will remember the fallen heroes of all the wars we have fought in but especially this year the battles of WW1.

Today was spent at the Headquarters of The London City Mission near Tower bridge for a conference on Elderly people. Excellent. During the lunch break I popped along to the Tower to look at the sea of poppies and spotted these two which had been cast aside for some reason. It made me think of how quickly as a society we cast people aside if they are elderly and seem of no more use. Such a shame as the older generation still have much to give and are great prayer warriors in the Church.
