The best aspects of today's trip to Crewe were the fish & chips at this famous chip shop and the Shropshire Gold at the Borough Arms.

But Coventry fans, including Eptas and my son Tom, saw storm clouds building over the Sky Blues' season. Crewe scored all three goals today, albeit one of them was an own goal. The most entertaining part of the game came when the Crewe Man of the Match, sponsored by Bargain Booze, was announced, inevitably, as their player Febian Brandy.
