Lumb Falls near Hebden Bridge

There is a plaque at these falls to remember the late poet laureate Ted Hughes who wrote a poem called "six young men " about the futility of war inspired by a photograph of six young men taken at Lumb Falls near Hebden Bridge Six months later All six men had been killed in the First World War.
