Back to Paddling

J got home from his fancy work dinner about 1130 last night a little festive and with a dozen red roses for me*. How sweet. He's at another tonight. Apparently this one involves karaoke.

Finished putting together the presentation just before midnight. Delivered it first thing this morning. Went well.

Plenty happening at work. Got out of there just in time to race down to paddling - my first training session in eighteen months. Figure a bit of structured activity will help me get fit faster. Tis great fun too. Beautiful evening. Did about twelve km. Man, am I going to be sore tomorrow.

Home in time to watch the replay of the women's aerials at the Olympics and a second Aussie gold medal. Pretty spectacular stuff.

Not overly keen on today's photo, but I didn't want to hang around longer in my wet gear looking for another. Bit cooler this evening - getting to the end of summer now...
