A Good Book

My husband gave me 'The Black House' to read a few months ago. He said it was a really good book and thought I would like it. He is always giving me books to read, but I usually find them too difficult and give up after a few chapters. Last night I managed to finish 'The Black House'! My husband then pulled out the sequel 'The Lewis Man'. He hasn't started reading yet, but said I could read it if I wanted. I started reading it last night and am already on page 128. This is unusual for me as it usually takes me ages to finish a book. I suppose it helps that I am still not well enough to do much today, so reading is a good choice!
