The path to the Abbey

Our A.G.M. for the walking club and also archives afternoon.
What better place to hold this than the Village Hall at Bolton Abbey.

This year after another enjoyable meeting, followed by a delicious afternoon tea.
( cakes and savories provided by us all) I went across to view the Abbey, before we set off for the drive back home.
After a lovely sunny day, it was beginning to cloud over, but I just managed to catch a shot of the sun shining on the ruins.
I do like the view with the path way winding down threw the fields, towards the river.
