boys and stones
When he was little there was always a stick in his hand when we went out walking and many followed us home. We still have a stack of random sticks propped up against the shed...you never know they might be of use again!
Now that he is a 13 year old teenager and so much bigger and stronger - he can pick up rocks seamlessly effortlessly and carry them along. He might be showing off now I think!
Busy morning with violin (which I have to say is no longer the 'vile din' in our house but actually rather lovely to listen to when Sienna plays) followed by dance classes etc and then the dreaded WALK! Actually the kids were pretty keen, the weather was lovely, the views gorgeous and except for a stroppy seven year old suffering from a lack of food and therefore unable to cope with anything or any of us - it was lovely.
Really struggling to keep up with the blips...trying to simplify life at the moment for me and for the ids...we all need it and therefore capturing an image and taking time to download and write fits in to the 'if there is time' rather than 'I need to do it'...juggling life is always tricky.
