Autumn light over Ingleborough

The forecast looked good so we packed a picnic and headed up to Ingleton and walked the Waterfall Trail. The falls were in full flow after this weeks rain, the paths slippery with wet leaves and water was seeping from every nook and cranny in the rock faces.

I had a play around with my circular nd filter and got some good results with the water. The light was wonderful as we came over the top and looked across the valley towards Ingleborough, and the landscape stretched out for miles.

The walk took all afternoon, and we were a bit weary when we finally got back to the car. So we stopped for a quick drink on the way home, and have just polished off a Chinese takeaway. A perfect Saturday.
