Outing

Lazy morning catching up on stuff then set off to see P. as it was his birthday yesterday. A. came with me and we took him out to lunch, thinking about whether he should get a dog and looking up rescue homes to see what might be available.
Decided not to go for one at the moment but he suggested we go to Whipsnade Zoo for the afternoon. Had a surprisingly lovely time....saw lots of the animals including these penguins, and it was a beautiful day with sunshine, dramatic clouds and amazing views for miles around. Back to P's house for birthday cake and chat then back to K's for dinner and a walk to look at the huge moon and lots of stars.
