Birgu candle festival

As part of our EVS training meeting, we visited Birgu ( one of the three old cities) for a candle festival. It really was a beautiful event, all the electric lights turned out and endless candles lighting up the streets and homes. They were suspended above our heads, lighting up doorways and churches and along window ledges. They was also live music dotted about and various cultural buildings were open for the night.
