Deering Oaks

I am tired I just got home and wow what a day.
So I am going to do this one quick.

Spent the day with Ingrid. This involved, Portland farmers market, ( fresh ginger veggies, ornamental kale etc) DD coffee, Buckdancers, (new guitar case and stand) Ferry Beach, (lots of moon snails) lunch (fabulous Spurwink Country Kitchen) And a visit to Ingrid's parents. We ended up spending hours with these wonderful people talking and laughing......

On the way to the market a very large old car was in front of us with a small sticker on the back that we couldn't read so we got closer and....closer.....it said
( Pomeranian on board don't tailgate) seriously. We were hysterical.
We went through the market and bought all
sorts of things. I told Ingrid that it was nice going through the market and seeing everything and not working! Ingrid said she felt like she was working. She was carrying the bags because I needed my hands free for the camera.

You know it's kind of funny that we hold no illusions about who we are. We are aware that we aren't the best or most talented band ever but we have a good time and enjoy ourselves. That's why when someone comes over to us while we are shopping and says" excuse me, did I hear you singing the other night at Bean's?" We both smiled and said, why thank you yes we did" she then said some very nice thing about us to us. It's cool to be recognized. Even more so to have it happen in public. We are so dorky after she walked away, we almost squealed."..
