Yleiset Kielitutkinnot - 20 years

Today I attended the 20th anniversary seminar of YKI, or National Language Certificates at Paasitorni in Helsinki. There was a good programme with lots of memories from the 20 years, some champagne, music and cake,of course.

I have traveled with YKI for half of the trip: I was trained as an YKI examiner in 2002, I think it was. After that I also got to become an interviewer at the highest level of English, as well as a writer of tasks.

Attending the centralised evaluation meetings at the University of Jyväskylä has always been a great way of developing myself as an evaluator of language skills, but also a relaxing and happy get-togther of old friends from all around Finland.
