Waikuku Beach General Store

Found a new spot to stay last night - Waikuku Beach. It's always interesting coming across quaint little communities - particulalry beach-side communities for some reason - they seem to have an abundance of character and a pace that defies the modern world. At this particular camping ground there appeared to be a large number of permanent residents rather than casual campers which I guess helps to create that community feel.

I love these old dairies - they seem to 'fit' the local beach-side community feel. An easy place to spend a lot of very relaxing days I imagine.
