Balliol

Collection (test set at the start of term) done! I had to translate a passage from Sebastian Faulks' Birdsong into French. One of the main problems I faced was that I had no idea what the words for yew tree and chestnut tree were - I evidently need to brush up on tree and plant names before my next exam!

I walked back to my accommodation along Broad Street in the sunshine and was struck by how much Balliol looks like a fairytale castle.

Enjoyed a quiet night in with my friends and watched How to Train your Dragon - some wonderful light relief after a tiring day.
