Relaxing poolside with one of the local Palm Springs craft beers. It was a really long day, leaving the house at 7:30am, driving to Palm Springs to set up a show booth (in the heat), and getting ready for a busy show over the next three days. Our rented van was packed to the gills with everything quilt related that you can think of, and we worked to turn our 10 by 20 foot space into a miniature shop. Probably 10 full dolly loads in and out of the (barely) air conditioned convention center. We stopped briefly for lunch, and were only too happy to grab a light dinner and an "adult beverage" served by a friendly bartender around the pool.
