The Birthday Boy

So, I'm in....Tokyo!

I'm here for the "Half A Century" party of my dear friend, Hiroshi "Koyu" Suzuki. We worked together many times over the years on my visits to Japan. As well as the professional regard I have for him, he's one of the nicest people I've ever met, and he's also a phenomenally talented musician. It was great to see him and his wife Aya, and to meet many of their friends at the party.

I got to Japan last night and stayed at the airport, took the train into Tokyo today for the party, then back out again. I fly out first thing tomorrow.
