A DISGRACEful ACT.

A man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of attempted theft of the Eric Morecambe statue. The statue has been a feature of the promenade for 15 years and as you can imagine the local population are appalled. The left hand photo was taken earlier this year and the missing statue with just one boot left on the right of the montage was taken today. The statue has been removed for repairs to the damage done.
I do not the sense behind such an act as the statue isn't solid bronze.
