Pansy

"A violaceous garden plant that is a variety of Viola tricolor, having flowers with rounded velvety petals, white, yellow, or purple in colour" --- apparently the definition of a pansy.

This is one of the pansies in "R's" Pallet garden which stands by the back door nicely sheltered from the wind.
