Coming down from Linley Beeches- south Shropshire.

Linley Beeches is an avenue of beech trees that cross the top of Linley Hill, they were planted in the time of Napoleon, but sadly have suffered from the resent gales . Local people have rallied and planted dozens of young trees, so hopefully the avenue is safe. I huffed and puffed my way to the top to-day,the views over South Shropshire through to Wales, were spectacular, the colour of the leaves in a week or two's time will be wonderful. I was really surprised to find myself up there alone.
