Granadilla

This enormous passion fruit measures nearly 75 mm on the longer axis.

It is from Ghana, via a local supermarket.

When I saw it, I thought blip rather than the fate which awaits it: to be scooped onto home made ice cream.

If you don't eat them, you should try them. Over a fruit salad, baked into a cake and used in the icing, over ice cream or just scooped out with a spoon.
