Autumn colours

Another quiet day keeping close to home. Went for a late afternoon walk taking in a recently discovered byway, where the mud was so sticky it seemed to be trying to suck the wellies off my feet. Failed to take any decent photos of the beautiful berries in the hedgerows, but I like this one of these orange lanterns in the village. They make me think of pumpkins and Hallowe'en.
