THE FORGOTTEN FRUIT

Looking for a quick blip this morning, and I came across these cherry tomatoes. They volunteer every year in the flower garden. Then we can hardly wait until they are ripe. When they are ripe, they appear in salads to soups. And then they seem to get forgotten. The really warm October has produced some beauties that need to be picked and eaten, but not until the are blipped. And then there seems to be some profound life lesson here.
