Had a quiet morning at home today. Made an apple, date and walnut loaf and went a bit old school with the measuring of the ingredients - pounds and ounces in this decimal age? Tsk! Also made a lentil stew for lunch - got to love Nigel Slater!

Had my hair cut this afternoon (which was long overdue), then went to see Gone Girl. Good film, maybe a bit long!
