Perfect Day

Today has been the most awesome day, helped mainly by good friends and family.

This morning, we managed a blipmeet with Richyf (pictured) and his lovely family.
It's so great meeting people you feel you already know through daily interactions on here.
I found out things I didn't know.....like Mrsrichyf's real name; was hugely entertained by Naomi and her dolls (and wooden toilet!) and by Louise's gymnastic skills.
It was nice of them to make the time (on a family day) to meet up with us too, so thank you Fowler family :-)

From there, we went into Bristol & had a hunt for a Banksy. Mr A particularly wanted to see this one so I'm glad we found it.

We also met up with my niece Dani & her OH, Ian. They took us to a quirky little tea shop called the birdcage. They sell the most amazing blends of tea....Dani recommended one called Detox for me; Mr A had one called Smoky Russian Caravan!

We spent a good couple of hours in there, just chatting and making full use of the free refills. Problem is we will probably need to pee all the way home!!

Dani took us to her local comic store so I could buy a copy of her blog/comic 'Worry Wart'. She very kindly drew a little sketch in it for me too. I'm looking forward to sitting down and reading it cover to cover, probably with more cups of tea!

We finally found the Clifton Suspension Bridge so our mission to Bristol is complete!

I felt a bit sad coming home as it marks the end of a fantastic day. As we drove up the M5 there was the most glorious sunset; what a perfect way to end a perfect day :-)
