I'd seen the moon first thing this morning. Then the mist descended. Late morning I had a feeling that if I climbed high enough I might get above it.

So, an early lunch (sandwich and crisps), packed a drink and biscuit and headed up Wansfell. Misty all the way .... no views .... took a few photos of people and trees (in the mist).

I sat on the summit and got my emergency rations out. Then the fence leading south from the summit came into view and the tops of the Coniston Fells (in photo) ... then Kirkstone Pass .... finally the Langdale Fells.
