Roundabout art

An otherwise rather dull roundabout at Thamesmead, not too far from here, has this magnificent sculpture as its centrepiece. It is huge. Look at the fingerboard sign on the lamppost, which is higher than head height, as a gauge of the scale of it. Bravo to those who commissioned this fabulous piece of public art.

Spent the morning doing a car twin test photoshoot, delayed from a weekday by the weather. Thank goodness it was better today. A favourite trading estate location we often use is much quieter at the weekend, so it was done and dusted in record time.

Had a quick coffee with my son and daughter-in-law, who are house packing ready for a move. Then home to find my daughter in the midst of a major baking session, making macaroons for work and uni, plus a few extras for us. Oh dear, waistline danger alert!
