orange and green

On the day that the soldiers are leaving N Ireland I give you orange and green side by side.
A day of contrasts and minor oddities. Not a lot of time for blipping. Any ideas what this is?
I know something about it but I don't know precisely. What is it called when you say a word at exactly the point when somebody on the radio says it. 'telesynchronicity'? I just keyed in 'precisely' as the radio said 'precisely' that word at precisely that instant. Er . . .precisely.
