Making baby Keira laugh at her birthday party this afternoon. She thought the gruffalo was very fabulous.

Keira's birthday party was preceded by ballet. They worked hard on exam work, both for the November ballet exams and the December performance exams. We stopped at mummy's favourite fabric shop before the party. Katie was gifted a free fat quarter of kiddy fabric. She declared that she will make a hair band for her doll.

We drove to the party, which was at a family friendly pub with soft play. Katie's been there plenty of times so happily charged off. Keira slept for most of her party!

After the party, we headed to grandad and granny's for tea and a play. She read to grandad, built lots of Lego. Particularly impressive was a quite brill Lego rocket she built
