Ink Cap Mushroom

I stumbled across this lovely Ink Cap Mushroom, view large, in Fairmilehead Park late in the afternoon. Apparently edible, according to Wild Mushrooms online. The website does say take an expert with you if you ever intend doing this, just in case you pick a poisonous one.

Not bad for a quick blip for Saturday. The cloud formations I had hoped to capture had dissipated. Good save. :^)
