Postcard from London Day 2

It is amazing what can be fitted into a day in London including:

1) Meeting friends for lunch in Balans in Great Compton Street.
2) A walk round central London, taking in sites such Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall, Downing Street etc.
3) A walk round Hampstead High Street, but alas, no sign of any local stars inc. local MP, Glenda Jackson. The people are queuing for Crepes in Hampstead High Street, and the blue plaque is for Dame Edith Sitwell, who once lived there.
4) Dinner at Ed's Easy Diner.
5) Many trips on the underground (here are KryptoMart and I at Waterloo), and the Docklands Light Railway.

Now waiting for the flight back to Edinburgh at London City Airport.
