Autumn harvest

This was in the church porch to greet us this morning and I thought it a lovely harvest/autumn display. Very appropriate as the season really does feel like it has shifted on to that of mists and mellow fruitfulness! A definite chill in the air.

We had a lovely Sunday roast lunch at a friend's house which was such a treat to be cooked for. We had roast lamb, roasties and all the trimmings. C played with lots of new toys and a v impressive grown up train set so was very happy. A nice relaxing afternoon.
